April 24 Infill and Small Development Public Presentation by Incremental Development Alliance


The Tompkins County Department of Planning and Sustainability is pleased to continue the conversation around housing in our community with this public event. The Incremental Development Alliance’s Bernice Radle will share her experience in real estate development, dig into ways that Tompkins County residents can develop projects in their own neighborhoods and show local leaders and advocates how they can encourage better buildings in our communities. Radle is the Vice Chair of the City of Buffalo Zoning Board of Appeals, a leader in Buffalo’s Young Preservations, a founding member of the Rust Belt Coalition of Young Preservationists, and the Founder/CEO of Buffalove Development.

  • Individuals in construction, design, planning or real estate looking to either enhance their current practice or make career transitions
  • Volunteers or professionals in business associations, main streets associations, historic preservation groups, and neighborhood improvement groups looking to champion incremental development in their communities
  • Professionals in city, village, town management, economic development, planning, and related agencies who are looking to make it easier for small scale development in their cities
  • Nonprofit development professionals working in organizations, churches, and community or housing development who need new strategies for small lot development
